New Department Internship Coordinator Orientation & Overview
Welcome to the BYU Internship Program! Established in 1976, the Internship Office—now Careers & Experiential Learning—is the oldest experiential learning program at BYU. As a new member of our community, which includes 135 internship coordinators, we’re excited to work with you.
BYU uses IRAMS to ensure students are eligible and prepared for academic internships. Your role includes reviewing department internship applications. To gain IRAMS access, please complete and return the IRAMS Access Request Form.
Review the Department Internship Coordinator Directory, find your department, and email Adrienne Chamberlain your name, department, office address, phone extension, and email to update the directory.
Welcome Email & Orientation Meeting
Once you have IRAMS access, you'll receive a welcome email with role-specific information. Adrienne Chamberlain will then schedule a 45-minute orientation covering the internship program, your role, responsibilities, resources, and IRAMS usage.
