Noah Willhite was the Supply Chain Chief for Heatle during Winter 2025.
Briefly explain what you did and the result of your internship.
This internship abroad gave me real-world experience in both the operational and strategic sides of business. I saw firsthand how a product moves from concept to prototype to potential launch. I learned how important logistics are—not just moving boxes, but creating systems that are efficient, transparent, and adaptable. I also got to be part of a global team, where I learned how to work with people from different cultures, communicate clearly, and think bigger than just one market or one country.
What did you learn on your internship that you were not expecting to learn?
It is so cool to see the German innovation and how they are turning a regular kitchen appliance into something more sustainable and continuing to make it better. The hands-on experience taught me to think critically about efficiency, customer experience, and system design — all of which I aim to apply in future roles in business strategy or logistics.
How have your future plans changed because of what you learned from your internship experience?
Working in Berlin expanded my global perspective, making me more open to pursuing international roles or other opportunities abroad.
Please share how your experience led to personal inspiration or insightful revelation.
From this experience, I plan to use everything I learned at Heatle in my next two years at BYU’s Global Supply Chain program and in my future career. I’m really interested in working in supply chain or marketing, ideally for a global company or startup. This experience gave me a foundation in both areas, and it makes me excited to keep learning and contributing to similar roles. I’m grateful for the opportunity I had to be part of Heatle’s mission and to play a role in building something new.
Would you recommend this internship to other students?
I would totally recommend this internship to other students! You are surrounded by other inspired and hard working people who want to make a difference in the world. You will have so much fun, experience more of the world, and learn valuable lessons.
