Marissa was an intern for FE Burman during Fall 2024.
Briefly explain what you did and the result of your internship.
I created social media content for FE Burman which will be used for their social media account. I also organized their CRM and product lists.
What did you learn in your internship that you were not expecting to learn?
I was not expecting to learn Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. These have been skills that I have wanted to improve for a long time and I loved getting to learn about and use these tools!
How have your future plans changed because of what you learned from your internship experience?
No, I am still not completely sure what feel of marketing I want to go into. I do know that this opened the door to social media marketing because I enjoyed taking photographs and creating content.
Please share how your experience led to personal inspiration or insightful revelation.
Personally, I learned that I am more interested in social media content creation than I originally expected. It was fun to get to take and edit photos each day of printed products.

Yes, I would definitely recommend this internship to other students. FE Burman was an amazing place to work. They were very kind, understanding, and helpful. They were there to help me learn as well as gain new perspectives and ideas. They were very helpful and kind to work with. I loved getting to work with them all!

I loved my internship and the things I learned! It was a positive experience and I loved everything I learned!
