Briefly explain what you did and the result of your internship.
During my internship in Salt Lake City, I provided technical support for end users, assisted in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and helped configure and maintain IT equipment. This experience strengthened my problem-solving skills, improved my communication with diverse teams, and contributed to smoother day-to-day operations.
What did you learn on your internship that you were not expecting to learn?
I did not expect to learn how much clear communication and active listening impact the success of technical support. Beyond solving IT issues, I learned to adapt my explanations to different levels of technical knowledge, which improved user satisfaction and built stronger working relationships.
How have your future plans changed because of what you learned from your internship experience?
My internship confirmed my passion for working in IT and inspired me to focus on roles where I can combine technical expertise with direct user support.

My internship inspired me by showing how technology can directly improve people’s daily work and experiences. Seeing the relief and gratitude from users when their issues were resolved reminded me that IT is not just about fixing devices, it’s about serving people.
