Magda was a Data Analytics Intern for Eide Bailly during Fall 2025.
Briefly explain what you did and the result of your internship.
During my data analytics internship, I built dashboards and automated data pipelines that helped teams understand their data and make better decisions. I worked with stakeholders to answer real business questions, find trends and issues, and explain what was happening in a clear way. The experience helped me grow my technical skills and learn how data is used in real-world decision making.
What did you learn on your internship that you were not expecting to learn?
I didn’t expect to learn how important communication and context are in data work. I thought the main challenge would be technical skills, but I learned that understanding the business problem and explaining results clearly mattered just as much as writing good code.
How have your future plans changed because of what you learned from your internship experience?
My internship helped clarify that I want to continue working in data and analytics roles where I can solve real problems and support decision-making. It also motivated me to keep building my technical skills while focusing on understanding the business side of problems.
Please share how your experience led to personal inspiration or insightful revelation.
The internship showed me how data can directly influence real decisions. Seeing people actually use the dashboards and analyses I built was motivating and helped me realize I enjoy working on problems that have visible impact.
Would you recommend this internship to other students?
Yes, I would definitely recommend it. The internship provides real responsibility, hands-on experience, and the chance to work on meaningful projects while learning how data is used in a professional setting.
Is there anything else you would like to say regarding your internship?
I’m grateful for the mentorship and trust I was given during my internship. Being able to work on real projects and contribute in meaningful ways made the experience both challenging and rewarding. I truly believe Eide Bailly is one of the best places to intern.
