Dantzel was a Consultation Liasion Assistant for Primary Children's Hospital during Winter 2026.
Briefly explain what you did and the result of your internship.
I was able to work on their consultation liasion team with inpatient children and help improve their behavior to help with their physiology and psychology. I was able to see a vast array of individuals and learn a ton about behavioral health interventions across various disorders. It was amazing!
What did you learn on your internship that you were not expecting to learn?
I had no idea how much medication and medical terms would be used and understood by pediatric psychologists.
How have your future plans changed because of what you learned from your internship experience?
Yes, this internship made me decide that I want to work in a hospital with children!
Please share how your experience led to personal inspiration or insightful revelation.
I loved the opportunity to love these children I barely knew. It was amazing to see how much these individuals matter to everyone that works to them and their Heavenly Parents. I loved being able to alleviate suffering.
Would you recommend this internship to other students?
While this internship was highly demanding it was highly rewarding, and I would recommend. It provided me with such rich experience that would be hard to get anywhere else.

I am so grateful I had the opportunity and the mentorship of the psychology fellows there!
