Claire Martin: Experience Design & Management

Claire was an Events and Entertainment Intern for Cerbelli Creative during Summer 2025.

Briefly explain what you did and the result of your internship.

I assisted with every aspect of the company in the event planning and production process (project management, on site management, graphic design, marketing, HR, venue management). I used the skills I gained to lead the brainstorming for a few events, complete graphic designing projects, and assist with projects our company was in charge of.

What did you learn on your internship that you were not expecting to learn?

I learned a lot about graphic design which I didn’t go into this expecting to learn. The way the event industry is set up also wasn’t what I expected.

How have your future plans changed because of what you learned from your internship experience?

Yes. I have learned that I want something a little more creative than the type of events I was planning. I also want a job that provides more variety in my day to day life than a desk job.

Please share how your experience led to personal inspiration or insightful revelation.

This experience taught me a lot about my life and what I am looking for in a future career. This has made me think a lot more about how to find fulfillment in my life.

Would you recommend this internship to other students?

Yes, because it has given a variety of real world experience and taught me a general overview of the industry.

This is a headshot I got through my company. The lights in the background represent the feel of the events we produce.
This is me and my coworker on site working an event. We were on site all day put together everything to make the event happen after doing all the planning beforehand. I (Claire Martin) am on the left and my coworker (Alex) is on the right.
