Caroline completed an internship with Lucid Software as a content migration intern. Here is what she has to say about this experience:
How did your internship align with your initial expectations?
I was actually on the Professional Services team (within the Customer Success department). I helped new enterprise clients migrate their important documents from competitor tools (such as Miro, Mural, etc.) into the Lucid Suite.
What day-to-day tasks were part of this experience?
I communicated with cross-functional teams and clients, involved with project management, had 1:1 meetings with the manager, and I helped as a QA tester for a new software tool.
Was this experience a confirmation that you are going in the right direction, or is it a pivot to something else?
Confirmation. I really enjoyed working at Lucid because of the company culture, so I felt comfortable remaining at Lucid and in the tech industry as a whole.
Would you recommend this internship to other students?
My particular internship will most likely not happen again because in my full-time role at Lucid, I will own most of the content migration tasks along with the engineering team (who is creating a tool to automate the process). But I would recommend interning at Lucid to anybody, regardless of interest.
