Luke interned at the BYU Writing Center as a Writing Consultant during the Winter 2021 semester and here is what he has to say about it:
Would you recommend this internship to others?
YES. It was a great experience. I learned so much, had a lot of fun, met some awesome people, fulfilled some school credit, and it made my resume look better!
Was there a COVID interruption?
Everything was completed through Zoom instead of in-person and I was sad because I couldn't socially interact as well or as comfortably with my colleagues and the students I was working to tutor.
What did you learn?
I learned how to have patience with low-motivated people. This internship really opened my eyes to other options that are possible within my education and possible future careers.
