Message from President Kevin J. Worthen
Today I am announcing another effort to help slow the spread of COVID-19: spring term 2020 will be done through remote instruction. In all other ways, spring term will proceed according to the previously established schedule.
For details concerning how this will work and what it means for on-campus housing and other services, please visit this website: BYU to continue remote learning through Summer term.
I offer my heartfelt thanks to the many individuals within our campus community who have worked tirelessly to help make this major shift to remote coursework go smoothly, especially the many faculty members who have had to make extensive adjustments and adaptations to their classes to continue to provide our students with an outstanding education under these new circumstances.
My thanks also to our students for their patience and fortitude through this transition and the many changes associated with it.
We appreciate all you are doing. Please take good care of yourself and those close to you.
Sincerely,
Kevin J Worthen
President, Brigham Young University
