IRAMS Instructions

All domestic internship courses require an approved internship application by the department internship coordinator and the Experiential Learning & Internship Office before a student is permitted to add an internship course to their schedule.’ IRAMS was created to be able to contact students quickly within specific geographic regions if there was an emergency, and to manage the internship or affiliation agreements between BYU and internship providers to cover any potential damage. Once the student’s internship application is approved by the department internship coordinator and Experiential Learning & Internships, a numeric internship flag corresponding to the internship course and section number is added to the student’s account permitting the student to add an internship course through AIM or MyMap.

The following links are provided to assist department internship coordinators in understanding and using IRAMS.
